They were also very knowledgeable about the region and had excellent recommendations for us on restaurants and winerys to visit. The rooms were spotless and the atmosphere of the entire hotel is charming. We loved the delicious gastronomic breakfast. As a tip to our timing, we lucked out because there was the Annual Mercata being held at Certaldo Alto, the old historic castle town on top of the city. We were able to attend this VERY fun event.
